Wilderness First Aid Certification Course
Be prepared for the unexpected outdoors. This 4-hour Wilderness First Aid (WFA) course provides practical, hands-on training for managing medical emergencies when you’re far from immediate help. Taught by Longleaf Medical’s experienced emergency providers, this fast-paced class covers essential backcountry response skills through demonstrations, guided practice, and realistic scenarios.
Participants will learn how to assess patients, treat common wilderness injuries, manage environmental emergencies, and make safe decisions in remote settings. Whether you’re a volunteer, educator, field technician, land steward, or someone who simply spends time in nature, this course will build the confidence and competence you need to respond effectively in the field.
